My Camera!!!

Well... Nathan & the kids got me a new camera for christmas,
and I've been needing to figure it out for a long time.
While Kayli and Hyrum played... Layton posed!

My Little Layton is a natural.

I just love his Baby Feet!

I really liked this one... his little belly is so chunky & cute!

He was so fun...
He loved all the attention!!!

This was his first day getting to play in the grass and leaves.
He thought the they would taste pretty good!

Little fat feet!

I can't wait for Aunt Lindsay to get her hands on him!

And let's not forget about the trees in my yard and their beautiful blooms...
And their Bees!!!

I love Spring!!!
And I think I'm pretty happy with my camera too!

What A Day!!!

Wow!!!
Today was such a great day.
It was not too hot, and not too cold... It was just right!
And we enjoyed every minute of it!!!

Kayli was so cute!

She was all over the yard collecting things.

Then she made up some tasty treats for the birds and squirrels!

********

Hyrum was so funny!

He built a 'TreeHouse'.
But there was No Tree and No House...
So, I would just call it... Digging in the Yard!

I was trying to figure out all the buttons on my camera...
So, Layton was busy posing for the camera!
I'll probably post some of his pictures tomorrow.

Just for fun!!!

Well...
On our long trips, back and forth, to and from Tennessee and South Carolina,
Nathan and I have had lots of time to read, ponder, and talk!
We have also been entertained by some of the people that we have met, and
some of the things that we have seen!
A few of these things we have captured on camera...

This was so funny! I took a million pictures,
coming through the TN-NC Mountains, when it was snowing.
And as I was snapping... A Sign!!!

Then on another trip...
We just laughed and laughed over this van's sticker!
Maybe it was just an inside joke, but it sure gave us something to smile about!

And then there was... well, this...
There was a Taxidermy Sign on the side of this truck!!!
... Need I say more?

We didn't really witness this one ourselves...
It was actually in an email that we got while on one of our trips!

And... Well,
Then there is The Holler!!!
My family decided to make the best of things...
You will just about destroy your vehicle driving on our wonderful gravel road.
So... They posted a sign at the end of The Holler!
And yes,
This is the correct phone number... if you need to contact them!!!
It was so funny,
With a cute little guy, sitting in the back of his truck, fishing in the pot holes of
 Berry Hollow Road!!!
(The Holler)

We survived!!!

Well... We survived!!!

We got around 6" of snow...

And Kayli and Hyrum had a blast!
They finally got to enjoy our big back yard and workshop.

They played...

And played...

And played!!!
Too bad there's no hills around here for sledding!

We survived...  but our electricity didn't!!!
It was almost 24 hours without electricity...
But we enjoyed ourselves without the TV!!!
We played Crazy 8's, Go Fish, and Dora Dominos by our oil lamp.
What a fun Family Home Evening we had!

We survived... but some of our food didn't!!!
We made a "refrigerator/freezer" outside in the snow.

What a fun experience...
And not only did we survived... We had fun surviving!!!

I sure love my little family
and
I love getting to spend special times like this with them!

These here mountains are White!!!

Well, we left church a few minutes early today to try to beat the snow!
And as you can see... We didn't make it!!!
When we got to Newport, it was starting to snow.

By the time we got to the Tennessee-North Carolina Line
everything was completely white!

It was so pretty!!!

When we got to York the snow was just starting to fall.
But it only took a few minutes for everything to be covered.

We'll keep ya up to date.
We should end up with 5"-8" before this is over!!!
